Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We did not block out rooms, so feel free to book a room where you feel most comfortable. We recommend choosing a hotel closer to the reception. There are also several options in Garner which is in between the ceremony and reception. If a hotel isn't your vibe, there are also plenty of airbnb's in the area. Reach out to Hayley or Jake if you have any questions.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! To keep things easy and fun we’ve opted to bring in a food truck for dinner. They have a gluten free menu and vegetarian options. Please let us know ahead of time if you have any dietary restrictions so we can accommodate accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We're lucky to have lots of little ones in our family and would love to celebrate with them! Invitations addressed to "The ___ Family" include your children. While kids are welcome, we kindly ask that they're respectful during the ceremony. Please note that alcohol will be served at the reception, so use your discretion. In short: children are welcome, but the party vibe is generally geared toward the grown-ups!

Question

What should we do in between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We know, there's a chunk of time! The bride and groom wanted plenty of time for pictures at the gardens and travel time. We've listed a few recommendations on the "Things to do" page. To name a few: stroll the gardens and take photos, check out deep river brewery in Clayton, grab some ice cream at Celtic Creamery in Clayton, take a power nap so you're ready to partyyyy!

Question

How far is the reception from the ceremony?

Answer

It's about 25 minutes with plenty of places to stop in between if needed.
