How do I RSVP? When should I RSVP by?
Answer
We ask that you RSVP online through our Zola wedding website. We are requesting all RSVPs be finalized by July 31st

What do I do if the RSVP deadline has passed and I forgot to respond?
Answer
We do apologize but you will not be able to attend. We sent multiple reminders due to the need to finalize the seating chart and finalize the headcount for our caterer.

What is the address of the wedding venue?
Answer
Our ceremony and reception will be taking place at the same location. 225 Zells Mill Rd, Newport, VA 24128

Is there parking available at the venue?
Answer
Yes, the parking area is a grassed field. Plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
Answer
3:30 pm. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time listed on the invitations (4:00 pm).

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our venue is located on a farm. So of course, we hope to be able to have beautiful weather to enjoy the outdoors. But just in case of rain, there will be a plan B that consists of staying under the pavilion and in the barn.

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
The most important thing is to have you celebrate with us on our special day. No gifts are needed or expected. However, if you do wish to give us something a little cash to spend on our honeymoon would be very much appreciated. There will be a card box at the reception or we have set up a honeymoon fund through the website Honeyfund. We have attached a link on the registry tab at the top of the page.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Answer
Due to keeping our day very intimate with close friends and family, we are unable to extend invites for plus ones unless otherwise specified on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event (with exceptions of very few close family we have already notified) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Dressy casual. Women think jumpsuits, midi/maxi/high-low dresses, wedges, block heels, and sandals. Men think khaki pants, button-up shirt, polos, blazer, and loafers. Check the weather and brink a jacket or sweater in case of cooler temperatures, especially into the evening. Please no jeans. Color scheme to consider: deep reds, oranges, greens, neutral browns/tans, and flower patterns.

Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?
Answer
We are having an unplugged ceremony, so please leave your phones off and in your pockets during that time. After the ceremony, you are free to take as many pictures as you like. We want to see our special day from your point of view as well. But please, make sure they get to us! There will be information posted at each dinner table regarding how to best send us your photos.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?
Answer
We will be having BBQ pulled pork, smoked chicken legs/thighs, rolls, mac and cheese, green beans, sweet potato casserole, and baked beans catered from Bluegrass BBQ for dinner.

We will have a small self-service bar that includes beer and wine.

What time will the reception end?
Answer
We will be doing a faux exit at 8:45 pm for the sake of pictures. But we plan to continue the party after and the bride even has an outfit change planned, so please join us!
