Believe it or not, CT is the pizza capital of the US! Head to New Haven to grab a pie at one of the big three: Frank Pepe's, Sally's, or Modern. Impress the locals by referring to it as "apizza" (ah-beetz). Bride's favorite: Modern Apizza. Frank Pepe's also has a new location in West Hartford!
Check out the Old Cider Mill or Robb's in Glastonbury for apple fritters and cider. Don't forget to feed the goats before you leave!
Interested in history? Connecticut has a lot to offer! Check out Mark Twain's house, colonial homes and cemeteries, and much more. We are also a short trip away from Old Sturbridge Village, the largest outdoor immersive history museum in the Northeast.
One of the great things about CT is that you can be in either Boston or New York City in under two hours. Take the train from New Haven to NYC and arrive at the beautiful Grand Central Terminal. Or, drive to Boston and explore Faneuil Hall or take a ride on the city's Duck boat. It's also great time of year to head north to check out more full fall foliage!
