Question

What is the dress code for the welcome party and wedding?

Answer

Welcome Party: Casual! Please come as you are -- we recognize many of you are traveling in, so whatever you are comfortable in is perfect. You'll find that Denver is a casual city, as most people are doing outdoorsy things during the day and wandering into restaurants/bars at night! Wedding: Cocktail/Semi-formal Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses!! We just want you to be comfortable. Please note the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside. We can't wait to see everyone all dressed up!

Question

How can I prepare for the altitude?

Answer

We are beyond excited to celebrate with you in the colorful state of Colorado! You'll be staying at an elevation above 5,000 feet in Denver. Here are a few recommendations to help acclimate to the higher elevation so you may enjoy the entire wedding weekend of activities! * Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Begin drinking lots of water (2-3) days prior to your arrival in Colorado and continuously throughout your stay. Liquid IV and Gatorade do wonders. * If your schedule and budget allow, plan to arrive (1-2) days prior to the BIG day to allow your body to adjust gradually to the substantial increase in altitude * Alcohol will affect you faster than normal. Your body will process alcohol faster than at home We highly encourage you to review the link provided below for additional tips & tricks to altitude acclimation! https://www.rei.com/learn/expert-advice/altitude-sickness.html

Question

What is the Colorado weather like?

Answer

We can see all seasons in one day here! Most July days can be pretty hot during the day, but cool off quickly once the sun goes down. We recommend always wearing sunscreen (and reapplying!) and bringing a sweater/jacket just in case.

Question

How do I get to and from the airport?

Answer

If you are staying at the Limelight hotel or the Thompson hotel, the A Line from DIA will take you right to Union Station! From there, the Limelight is one block from Union Station, and the Thompson is three blocks away. If you are staying closer to the venue, and/or plan on exploring Colorado, we recommend some form of car rental or ride shares.

Question

How do I get to the wedding? How do I return home?

Answer

We highly encourage people to take an Uber/Lyft to The Manor House. There will also be parking available onsite should you choose to drive. You are able to leave your car overnight until 10am on Sunday if needed. For your return trip, we have provided shuttles that start at 7pm. The shuttle will take you to the Limelight hotel. It is much easier to Uber from there than The Manor House. For those of you hoping to keep the party going, dropping off at the Limelight hotel will leave you in close proximity to bars and other nightlife in the area.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! You can find our registry at the menu of the top of this website.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love children, but want you to have a night off! The ceremony and reception will be an adult-only affair.

Question

Can I bring a "Plus One"?

Answer

If your invitation notes "and Guest," please invite your "plus one."
