We're really excited to host a wedding in the gorgeous city of Santa Barbara. Hayley grew up nearby but we've really fallen in love with the location after Hayley's parents moved there. Many moments have been spent walking the beaches and sidewalks of this beautiful town because we're a little bit addicted to how relaxing it is to spend the weekend here. There was no question that we would get married in Santa Barbara and we hope our guests enjoy the area. The venue will give some spectacular scenic views of the coast we love so much.

We met in August of 2011 at Boston University's new student orientation and instantly connected over our shared love of photography, technology, travel, and film. Debates have been had over the exact moment we first spoke (it was either a conversation about how stellar Nikon lenses were at the time or a conversation about the iMac Hayley casually configured while waiting to sign up for classes) but we sure were on the same wavelength right from the start! We dated throughout college and then moved to Los Angeles when we graduated to pursue careers in post production. After about 8 years bouncing around a few apartments we found our current spot in Atwater Village, which seemed like a good time to do two things: get engaged and get a dog. After a few years of little travel during the pandemic, we journeyed to Norway in search of some jaw dropping vistas and Ricky proposed in the very small town of Ålesund on the first day. After getting engaged we started to plan our wedding only to be completely derailed by getting our first dog, a little Corgi puppy we named Chappy after an obscure animated character that makes us laugh. He is, no exaggeration, the love of both of our lives and will be in attendance at our wedding!
