FAQs

Question

Are Children Invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we are having an adults-only wedding and reception, and request that no children under the age of 13 attend. We want you to enjoy our day as a night out!

Question

Can I bring a plus one to your wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, we do have limited space, so we simply can't allow all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Plus ones are therefore by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one unless specified on your rsvp. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal with Formal-Optional: Cocktail dresses and long dresses for women. Suits, dress shirts, and dress shorts or slacks for men are all encouraged. The ceremony is outside, and we encourage light jackets or shawls for those who might catch a chill. Please no white, jeans, or T-shirts. Dress up and have fun! For those who want to avoid the colors of the wedding party, they will be in Sky Blue and Navy.

Question

Where is everything taking place?

Answer

The ceremony with be held in the back field of Mike and Tonya Powers' house, overlooking the mountains. Transportation from the parking area to the ceremony site will be available. The reception will be held in a tent up on the adjacent hillside, and transportation will be available as well. For those who are able to walk, everything is indeed within walking distance. The terrain is a gravel road and also grass.

Question

BYOB?

Answer

Per our contract with our amazing bartender, Blonde N Boozy, no outside alcohol is allowed at our wedding reception. We will ask guests who do, to leave promptly. A cash bar will be available and will have plenty of beer, wine, and cocktail options. Along with the Bride and Groom's signature drinks. For guests who do not wish to drink alcohol and for guests under 21 years of age, sodas and water will be free all night.

Question

Will there be seating for everyone?

Answer

We have limited seating reserved for immediate family and guests who can not stand for the ceremony available. Everyone will have a seat at the reception.
