After meeting through a mutual friend and getting the courage to answer a facetime call, the first time we talked ended up turning into an all-nighter conversation from sharing our favorite colors to explaining our family history, to sharing our morals. At 16 & 17 years old, our first date consisted of driving Jared's '96 Corolla to his house to be greeted in the garage by his older brother, Luke, in a towel. Our dates began with watching the Shining to car karaoke sing offs, wrestling matches, and endless tears of laughter. Our pillow fights, dance offs, and movie marathons led us into proms, graduations, and first milestones with our careers. Five+ years later, we can not only look back at how we have grown as individuals in this short time, but now look into a lifetime together. That first conversation five years ago never ended... it's time to continue that conversation as we live through the highs and the lows as one.
