Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

As much as we want everyone to celebrate this special day, we kindly ask that no children under the age of 18 is to attend the ceremony and reception .

Can I take personal pictures of the bride and groom during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking their own pictures during the ceremony. We will have a wonderful photographer to help capture this exciting day. We want everyone to be present in the moment.

Will there be parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, the venue will have designated parking for guests, bridal parties, and their families. The wedding party and their families will be able to park in front of the guest house. Guests will be able to park in the grass along the driveway to the main house and additional parking will be available in the grass past the barn. There will be signs to tell the guests where to park.

Is smoking allowed at the venue?

Answer

Yes, smoking is allowed in designated smoking sections and around the fire pits. The venue kindly asks that guests refrain from smoking in the buildings or within 100 feet of the barn. Also, we kindly ask that guests properly dispose cigarette buds in the designated containers.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1st either through the QR code sent with the invitations or send the RSVP card back to the provided address.

Is there a noise ordinance or a curfew at the venue?

Answer

King George has a set noise ordinance at 9:30pm and guests must depart from the venue by 10pm.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

On the travel page, there will be a list of hotels near the venue for guests.

Will there be an open bar at the reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar. Guests will have a selection of wine and preset mixed drinks. There will also be a variety of water, tea, and soda options.
