Fun shows ranging from singers to comedians.

Durham Performing Arts Center

Unfortunately the Durham Bulls will be playing in Norfolk, Virginia the weekend of the wedding. But if you are a baseball fanatic, it is only a 3 hour drive from Durham.

If you have extra time, the beach is 2.5 hours from Durham.

Wilmington Beach

21c Museum Hotel is an art museum hotel that allows you to walk around for free to view the exhibits.

Great natural park with river that runs through Durham. You can swim or fish in for free. Just keep one eye out for snakes.

Eno River State Park

20 minutes outside of Durham has a small "mountain" that has a short and low incline hike up to a nice view. Great for families. Parking is easy and free.
