Meghan and Malyn met doing a community theatre production of Alice in Wonderland back in 2010. Meg was the Mad Hatter, Malyn was the Queen of Hearts. They reconnected in the lunch line in sixth grade, and the rest is herstory. Although their friendship has been separated by thousands of miles for 8 years, their friendship is stronger than ever. Meghan couldn’t think of anyone better to have at her side for this momentous day <3
Conner McCarthy

Of all places, Ryan and Conner met in 6th-grade choir, where he vaguely remembers Ryan doing a not-at-all-required presentation in front of, using a tennis ball and a muppet (Fozzy, if he remembers correctly) to demonstrate a proper singing technique. While narrowing down to one memory is actually impossible, their Lilo & Stitch photoshoot across Hawaii was pretty damn iconic. It was over the top, fully unnecessary, and definitely turned heads when they would stop to pose for them, but having someone who was even willing to do something so fun and unserious like that with him is something he values beyond belief.

Abbey met Meg in Alpha Chi Omega ❤️💚 Meg was her bid day buddy back in February of 2020. She gave Abbey the kindness she needed, and she is forever grateful that Meg encouraged her to be a part of the chapter that changed her life. After college, they moved to cities across the country from each other, but they stay connected by sending Instagram reels to each other on the daily.

Chris met Ryan sometime around 2010, when they were in school together and in the same Boy Scouts troop. His favorite memory with Ryan would probably be from their band trip to Hawaii, where Ryan dressed up and got on stage to do a hula dance.
Mara Currens

Meg and Mara met as Mersisters during The Little Mermaid and promptly fell in love while on heelys and they became inseparable. Despite her best efforts, Mara followed Meg everywhere, from Millikin to Alpha Chi to Chicago. They have so many memories, it's hard to pick just one. Together, they participated in the MN All-State choir, the Spotlight Awards, community theatre shows, many road trips with Meg's cat, the Alpha Chi executive board, and even shared a room (even if it was only for 2 weeks). Mara's favorite memory with Meg is listening to Waitress and making pies in her house--the first time they hung out outside of rehearsal. She said something like "I think we are going to be friends forever," and they both knew it was true.
Brooke Hafner

Ryan and Brooke met through our college theatre department's production of Robin Hood (not a staged version of "Men in Tights", but a very creative interpretation nonetheless). Stage combat, including a pillowed potbelly and a prop turkey leg as Friar Tuck (Brooke) and The Sheriff of Nottingham (Ryan) went head to head, swordfighting and bantering with Devon and Paige during rehearsals, is how their friendship began. Brooke's favorite memory with Ryan is when he had a group of friends over for a bonfire at his house. When it started to rain, he grabbed a tent from storage and pitched it with Devon like the seasoned scouts they are. They all sat inside, listened to the rain, and chatted for hours on matters both serious and silly.

Greta met Meg at a callback for the Spotlight Education musical theater awards during their senior year of high school, where they found out they’d both be going to Millikin for college in the fall! They quickly became best friends, first living directly across the hall from each other in Dolson Hall, and then sorority sisters (along with Megan to complete our trio). Greta’s favorite memories with the bride were their road trips between MN and IL, where they had 7+ hours of quality time to sing along to show tunes and talk about everything under the sun :)

Devon met the groom when he auditioned for Robin Hood at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. He vividly remembers seeing him on stage and saying, “Yeah, I’m going to be friends with that guy.” His favorite memory with the groom is sitting in his car, eating Panda Express, and listening to silly podcasts.

Hannah and Meg met in college! They were in the same major, so they had lots of classes together. Her favorite memory with the bride is when we would go to Taco Bell after dance class on Tuesday and just vibe.

Ryan and Reece met in elementary school. A favorite memory of his is when they were at Boy Scout camp, and they had to take a vow of silence. Reece then broke it multiple times, but Ryan didn't even think about snitching on him.

Jaylen and Meghan were in Millikin’s honors seminar classes together and hit it off right away! Some of her favorite memories with the bride are the unplanned, random chats when they lived together during their senior year of college, AND playing games with Meghan and Ryan when she visits Minneapolis. Ooh! And meeting Stephen Colbert in Meghan’s Chicago apartment!

Paige and Ryan met in college. Her favorite memory with Ryan is when he and their other college friends (and fellow groomsfolks), Devon and Brooke, would come over and play Mario Party at her college house.

Megan met Meg freshman year of college! Then we joined the same sorority, and the rest is history. The best memories come from living only an hour away from each other after college and getting to hang out all the time, like when we met Stephen Colbert in Meg’s apartment!

Izzy met Meghan through AXO. Apparently, they met on Izzy's bid day, but that day was so overwhelming that she doesn’t even remember meeting Meg. She really remembers meeting her during the Big/Little process. Her favorite memory is having Meg pick her up so she could drive her to get a covid test (after Meg had already tested positive).
