In 2010, Isaac and Sharika met while working together. One year later, they became inseparable best friends. They often supported each other, laughed together, and cared for one another. They attempted to date in 2011, but ultimately decided to remain friends. As friends, they supported each other through the very difficult journey of graduate school. That experience helped to strengthen their bond and brought them closer to each other. But Isaac knew he was falling in love with Sharika, yet Sharika was not ready for a serious commitment..especially not to a preacher! LOL In 2015, Sharika became mom to EJ. And Isaac was there supporting every step of the way. Sharika began falling in love with Isaac's gentle heart. Sharika recalls his sweet gestures of 'just because' flowers, lunch dates, and spa days. Unofficially, Isaac asked Sharika to marry him before asking her to become his girlfriend. Sharika responded with a yes then and another yes during his official proposal at the Emmaus Community Church on 07/21/2019. Isaac and Sharika are so excited to join in Holy Matrimony on the 3rd of April as their family and friends witness at their wedding.
