2.1.22 ~ First Picture Together. Shannon and Kyle visited the Eastern Michigan U. campus, and Kyle showed her his banner that promoted the school. They ate at Maiz, one of Kyle's favorite restaurants.

6.23.22 ~ First trip together. Kyle wowed Shannon with the couple's first of many visits to a Delta Sky Club. She packed her bag full of free snacks before visiting her cousin in Washington D.C.

9.2.22 ~ Kyle supported Shannon's obsession with Michigan State Athletics. It helped that he grew up a Spartan fan. Go Green! Go White!

10.15.22 ~ Shannon's First Eastern Michigan Football Game. Shannon didn't mind cheering for the Eagles since they were still Green & White! Eastern Eagles, hats off to you!

12.25.22 ~ First Christmas Together. Kyle got on board with Shannon's EXTREME love of Christmas, and started their tradition of wearing matching pajamas!

3.25.23 ~ First Trip Abroad. Kyle and Shannon visited Paris, France. Shannon thought this trip was where they would get engaged. They had a great time in France, even without the proposal.

4.14.23 ~ Admitted Students Day at Minnesota Law School. Shortly after returning from Paris, they made their first trip to Minneapolis together to tour Mondale Hall.

5.5.23 ~ Shannon Graduates with her M.Ed. Shannon once again thinks this could be where Kyle proposes. She was wrong again.

6.6.23 ~ The Proposal! Kyle surprises Shannon at work with the help of her coworkers and students. She thought he was coming to read to the class, but he had more in store! It was an easy yes!

6.24.23 ~ We Move to Minneapolis. Kyle and Shannon moved to Downtown Minneapolis. The move went smoothly, and both were happy in their new city.

10.28.23 ~ MSU vs. UMN Football Game. The Gophers beat the Spartans 27-12 in our new favorite rivalry. Shannon looks forward to the upcoming rematch in November 2025.

4.13.24 Kyle and Shannon go to Law Prom!

6.16.24 We brought home our newest family member, Lucky!

7.15.24 Kyle and Shannon travel to South Dakota and see Mt. Rushmore! After living in South Dakota from 2018-2020, he made his first visit to Mt. Rushmore.

7.29.24 Another trip in the books, this time we got to spend time with Kyle's family exploring Colorado!

8.24.24 Kyle and Shannon visit family in Phoenix, Arizona! They also took their first ride in a Waymo self-driving car!

9.17.24 Kyle and Shannon followed the Eastern Michigan Football team to Seattle, WA as they played against one of the Big Ten's newest members, the University of Washington.

10.16.24 We cheered on the Minnesota Lynx in the 2024 WNBA Finals!
