Our story is pretty typical, you know, the classic love tale where two boys from East Texas grow up, move to a college town, meet at an architecture firm, become best friends over four years, then start dating during a global pandemic. Classic. That is about how it went though.. we met through a local architecture firm in College Station where we both still work today. What started out as occasionally grabbing lunch transformed into being nearly inseparable friends for the past few years. In August of 2020, we made the leap from being friends to dating and in March, Marcus made a few different plans on how to propose. When neither of those plans went quite how he imagined, Hayden reassured him that as long we were both there then the proposal would be perfect. Marcus proposed right then and there, and as you might have guessed, Hayden said yes.
