Mama and I first met during Bethel Campus Fellowship, a campus ministry at Kennesaw State University. Little did we know that this initial meeting would spark a deep and lasting friendship. From shared laughter during late-night study sessions to profound conversations about life and faith, every moment together became a treasured memory. Our bond quickly grew, fueled by mutual support and the special grace of God. Mama is the sister I never had and never knew I needed. She served as my Maid of Honor for my wedding, and I am honored to serve her this time around. Now, looking back, it’s clear that our friendship was meant to be, blossoming in the most genuine and heartwarming way amidst the halls of Kennesaw State. I'm excited to have a front row seat in what God is going to do in and through you as a beautiful bride and wife-to-be. Best of wishes to her and my new brother Hayden!

I’ve known Hayden my whole life, and it’s a privilege to call him not only my brother, but also my friend and mentor. Some of my most cherished memories are from the days we shared a room—filled with late-night conversations, pointless arguments, and the best laughs. I’m grateful to walk through life with him, growing together in faith and always challenging each other to give our best. As he begins this new chapter with Mama by his side, I admire the love and respect they’ve built together. Mama and I met back in 2016 but our friendship really started in 2019 when we became FaceTime warriors. These five years have been nothing short of a blessing, I’ve gained a sister, a prayer partner, and my own personal cheerleader. She was the sister I never knew I needed, someone to laugh with until I couldn’t breathe, and someone to cry with through life’s disappointments. Mama has taught me how to be a better daughter, friend, leader, and believer just by doing life with her and I can’t thank her enough for how she has loved me. This wedding is personal because my sugar has found her personal person. I’m honored to serve two of the most selfless people I know, celebrating Mama and Hayden is too easy because of how they show up for the people they love. When it comes to these two NO GENTILITY!! We’re gonna celebrate these two incredible people and give God the glory because he did his big one!

I met Hayden in high school and was a grade older than him but didn’t interact too much then. Close to the end of my first year of college, an older friend randomly reached out and asked if his cousin could crash with me last minute for a college visit program and I agreed without much question. A day later, said cousin showed up and it was Hayden lol. Since then our paths have been intertwined. Fast forward three years and I meet Mama and she connected me with a Bible studies she helps lead. Fast forward another year and by then Hayden has graduated and I invite him to said Bible studies and he joins. Fast forward a few weeks and someone who will not be named (*cough* the future Mrs Sarpong) requests some details about Mr Sarpong and the rest is history. The Lord is pleased to join these two for His glory. This union is blessed and will surely produce fruit of eternal impact. Hype to be here for it!"

Mama is Owura’s little sister—the knuckleheaded boy I met back in 2016, who would later become my husband. The title “sister-in-law” suggest a relationship born out of law, but what we’ve built over the past eight years is much deeper. Mama has went from being my boyfriend’s little sister, to a friend, to a sister-in-love, & now, simply my sister. In fact, I call her my blood sister because she was there to witness me giving birth to my child, so naturally, it makes sense lol. My love for Mama runs deep. She’s watched me transition from a stranger into family, & I’ve had the privilege of watching her blossom into an extraordinary woman. Mama is intelligent, wisdom-driven, graceful, & has an unmatched consideration for others. So it’s only fitting that someone as amazing as Hayden found his way to her! My prayer for you both, Mama & Hayden, is that your love continues to guide, uplift, & strengthen you. May love always find its way to you, no matter where life leads. I’ve known mama all her life and we don’t often consider family members destiny helpers but mama embodies the concept so well. Every major milestone in my life she has been a help, she has encouraged motivated loved and push me to levels I didn’t know I could. She is truly selfless and one of a kind. The most amazing thing about Mama is here heart for the Lord Jesus Christ. I have had the pleasure of disciplining her as she has grown to be an amazing and sound woman of God. Hayden on the other hand I haven’t know quite as long but we met in a discipleship ministry I started in 2019. Hayden joined us and watching him develop and grow in to who he is now I’m has been nothing short of the grace of God. He is a true man of integrity embodying the fruit of the Holy Spirit. I believe this union with these two will bring about and glory to God, honor to our families, and an excellent example of the love of Christ and the church"

Mama and I met our freshman year of high school at band camp and were inseparable ever since! She was my right hand girl through all the AP classes, band trips, senior year adventures, college and beyond. I sincerely cherish every single memory we have together and am so excited to continue making more memories as we move into the next chapter of our lives together. What can I say about Hayden and Doctor Teacher… I mean, Mama, that has not been said by the person to my right? Or left? Or up or down??? (nervous laugh) Ok, I guess I could add some more… met Hayden during his visit to campus. He had stayed with Kwadwo, a mate, that weekend. This man Hayden was one of the friendliest and most confident person I had met. Fast forward to him starting college, accomplishing all that he did including becoming dancer extrodinare, and of course, Mr. President! It is therefore no surprise to see when his love blossomed for Mama (the selfless, most outstanding WOG, you will meet) like a flower leaning towards the sun. Ps. I don’t have proof of this, but I’m sure Mama was the one who planned the Cana Wedding. That’s the kind of experience level she brings to every person’s event planning and most importantly obedience to the Lord in all situations. Met her through Fire Ministries, and since then, I continue to be blessed by her never ending talents, care and love for people; with an appropriate level of side eyes as deserving for any situation. Hayden is indeed blessed to have this woman… “who deserves to be a stay at home wife with multiple vacations in a year.” Seriously though, very thankful to the Lord for bringing these Powerhouse of Kingdom People together!!!! He is literally Mama's other half and I can't wait to see what God has in store for them.

I meet Hayden through a bible study with some members of my dorm and as we got closer through our 4 years at UVA he has really become like a brother to me (Don't you see the family resemblance). Some of my fondest memories with him are having super intense super smash bros matches and just struggling through our engineering classes together. Honestly, I am so grateful for this god-given brother and can't even believe he is getting married, but I am so happy for him.
