Best Man
I met Houston my freshman year of college at Mississippi State. We were fraternity brothers and after an unforgettable first-meeting we immediately became great friends. This friendship continued to grow throughout school as we became roommates for the rest of our college careers. There was almost never a time you would find one of us without the other. As life has changed we do not get to see each other quite as much as we used to, but our friendship has never lessened. Houston was one of the guys that helped me pull off my proposal to Maddie. I am forever thankful for his friendship and advice throughout the years.
Maid of Honor
Joanna and I have known each other most of our lives, but we became fast friends over the last two years. Joanna is my adventure buddy and my confidant. She has walked me through some of the most exciting and the hardest seasons of my life. Between running (attempting) Marathons together, kayaking, and watching Poladark, Joanna encourages me in my walk with the Lord. She is a faithful friend and an advocate of all things good. She brings JOY to my life. I am so thankful for the grace that God has shown our friendship- truly so thankful for Jo!
Groomsman
My family is pretty tightly knit. So of course I wanted both my brothers to stand beside me on mine and Maddie’s big day. Heath is my middle brother and shares many interests and hobbies with me. We have always found the same tasks and activities enjoyable and that has really allowed us to spend a lot of time together throughout our lives.
Bridesmaid
Allison is my older sister and an old and dear friend to me. Allison is wisdom and grace embodied. She has prayed over me and with me for my entire life. I am so thankful for growing up and growing closer with my sweet sister!! I am so grateful for her kindness and love to BOTH me and Hayden over this past year. I hope that my marriage embodies the love and kindness that Allison (and Andrew) is able to embody in her own marriage.
Groomsman
Hunter is my baby brother. We look almost nothing alike but share a lot of the same personalty traits. In many ways he is a mini-me. He has been a large and vocal supporter of mine and Maddie's relationship and has always done his best to make Maddie feel included at family events anytime I was not able to be around. Very excited to have this gentlemen next to us on our big day!
Bridesmaid
Sweet Molly Girl is my little sister who has a heart of gold. She is incredibly thoughtful and creative. Molly and I shared a room most of the time while growing up, and I am so grateful that we are now more than roommates- sweet friends. Molly encourages me and uplifts me and she (combined with Heath) started #OperationMayden before Hayden and I had even reconnected in May. Molly is kicking some tail at UT Chattanooga and plans on being a nurse. She consistently makes me so proud and I love getting to watch her bloom into her lively, energetic, and creative self.
Groomsman
Joel is one of my oldest friends. I have known him for as long as I have been alive. We went through almost all stages of life together from backyard football, to hunting, and even a couple years of school at Mississippi State University. We share many of the same interests and struggles in life and have been able to maintain our friendship even through great distances. It was for all these reasons and more I could not picture getting married without having him up there beside me.
Bridesmaid
Abby has been one of my best friends for as long as I can remember! I love that no matter the distance or time apart I feel like Abby and I can jump back into a close friendship. Abby has walked beside me through some of the toughest times of my life and has filled my life with fun and laughter. She is the world's most talented DJ and can liven any party. I am so thankful for her continued friendship over the years!
Groomsman
Michael is Joel's younger brother and our friendship has been ongoing for as long as I have been alive as well. Michael and I spent a lot of time together during high school through 4-H. We even won a national competition together. He has always been a source of sound advice for me, and I call him fairly regularly to seek his counsel and catch up. He now lives in Virginia with is wife Nora. Very excited to have him beside me on this big day.
Bridesmaid
Laura and I have been friends since middle school! Laura has the wit of a champion that can only come close to being matched by her husband, Alden. She is kind and generous and has been so helpful and encouraging through the whole engagement process. Laura and I have explored Memphis this past year one brunch spot at a time. We both work in the medical field which has bonded us as we share outrageous experiences. I am grateful for her friendship and encouragement through all these years!
Groomsman
Garrett and I attended high school together and were friends during that season of life. College took us in two different directions, but through mine and Maddie's relationship we have reconnected some. I am excited and proud to be able to soon call him my brother. He is a wonderful guy with a cheery and welcoming spirit. Pumped that he is standing with us on our big day!
Bridesmaid
I would not want to share a name with anyone else! For several months Madeline and I were known collectively as "The Madelines" as we were inseparable. Maddie is an incredible listener and is so compassionate and empathetic. She loves to travel and experience new cultures and I often live vicariously through her. She has been an incredible friend and encourager through the past years!!!
Groomsman
Hobson is Maddie's baby brother, and someone I have gotten the pleasure to know better through our relationship. He is a great swimmer and lacrosse player for ECS high school in Memphis, and a downright fun person to be around. Its a real thrill to know that soon he will be a brother of mine as well. Looking forward to him being with us on the wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Bekah has been my roommate for the past year. She embodies grace and order and I am so grateful to have lived with her! Bekah is an excellent communicator and has strengthened and encouraged my faith so much this past year through her example and kindness. She is available to have fun in any situation and is always up for adventure. I am so grateful to know Bekah and will miss living with her :(
