HAVE YOU RESERVED HOTEL ROOM BLOCKS?

Answer

We have not blocked any rooms for hotels because we want our guest to stay where it is convenient for them! However, we have listed some recommended hotels near our venue! See the "Travel" Tab!

WHERE ARE THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION TAKING PLACE?

Both our ceremony and reception will take place indoors at The Farmhouse in Montgomery, TX. We will host a cocktail hour in between events outside on the patio!

IS PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE VENUE?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of free parking at the venue. Feel free to Uber/Lyft if you prefer. You may want to schedule your Uber/Lyft ahead of time.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

The ceremony will begin right at 4:30 PM. We recommend that guests plan to arrive between 4:00-4:15PM to allot time for parking and finding their seats! If you arrive late, there is no guarantee that you will be let in.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal, so pull out your best dresses/suits! Only one rule: don't be "that" person that shows up in white, cream, ivory, or anything within that color family. It doesn't matter if it's patterned or striped-- it's still white!

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

Answer

We have a strict guest list and will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?

Answer

We have a strict guest list and will only be able to accommodate those children that are listed on your invitation. *Note that this is an adult event and alcohol will be served. Music may also be explicit.

CAN I TAKE PICTURES?

Answer

Our ceremony will be "unplugged". We respectfully ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent during this special time. The greatest gift you can give us is to be fully present as we say our I do's. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us, so please allow them to do their best work. After the ceremony, and during cocktail hour and the reception, please feel free to take as many photos as you want! (And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them).

CAN I POST MY PICTURES ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Answer

Yes! We encourage guests to post pictures on their social media. Our only request is that you include our wedding hashtag, #HappilyEverHowerton, so we can keep track and enjoy all the pictures!

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CEREMONY?

Answer

The bride and groom will be taking pictures together, with close family, and their wedding party. Guests will enjoy cocktail hour where cocktails and light hors d'oeuvres will be served.

WHAT KIND OF FOOD/DRINKS WILL BE SERVED AT THE RECEPTION?

Answer

Pappa's will be catering the wedding! There will be light hors d'oeurves during cocktail hour followed by fajitas served at the reception. There will be an open bar along with two signature cocktails. There will also be an unlimited amount of water, sodas and tea.

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us but the hangover is on you!

CAN I BRING MY OWN ADULT BEVERAGES?

Answer

TABC nor the venue will not allow outside adult beverages to be brought into the venue. We will be supplying all the alcohol. We will have several bartending staffers to serve you. We love each and every one of you so PLEASE drink responsibly. DO NOT drink and drive! Have a plan in place.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN'T MAKE IT?

Answer

If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly. You will be missed!
