The day we met, we were working for Walgreens (shout out to our friends at the Morgan Walgreens in Corpus!) this was my first day at the store (again) and my first day meeting the love of my life. We were working in cosmetics on totes and she spilled nair on me (so of course I splashed some back at her, flirtingly but we both suck at flirting so it took a while for the hints to sink in). She thought I hated her, and I thought she was seriously too fucking adorable and beautiful. Falling in love in the grocery aisle: Fast forward to September of 2022, we had been hanging out as friends inside and outside of work (by this point she finally realized I didn’t hate her), we had done a reset in the grocery aisle in the middle of a storm. My friend Jenn came to our location to help as a cashier, after seeing Izzy and I together she pulled me aside to ask if I liked her and to tell me I should go for it because she could see the chemistry between us. Well of course I was too scared to make the first big move but I really wanted to get to know Izzy better, so I invited her to Barnes and Noble, after hanging out that one day I realized how much I just wanted to spend time with her so for the rest of that week we spent damn near every moment together, and soon on September 26th we made it official. And now this amazing and beautiful woman is my fiancé, my best friend and my soon to be wife. She’s the love of my life, of all my lives. She’s my favorite person and always will be. She sees me in my darkest moments and my brightest and no matter what she makes each day I’m here on this earth the best days of my life. I love you Izzy and can’t wait to marry you 🖤🖤🖤
