What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is Black-Tie. Men: Tuxedos Women: Floor-length gowns (spring florals/colors encouraged!)

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors. Since the ceremony is on grass, we suggest shoes that are easy to walk in, like block heels, wedges, or flats.

Where is the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please join us at 5:15pm for a pre-ceremony aperitivo. Ceremony begins at 6:00pm.

Are children invited?

Answer

We have such a special place in our hearts for your little ones. The wedding ceremony and reception itself will be an adults-only celebration, but children are more than welcome to join in the fun at the family welcome party. Please note the Post-Toast at Kirby Ice House is 21 and over. For assistance on childcare, please contact Susan Ferrari at (713) 306-9228.

Will there be transportation between the hotel and the venue?

Answer

No need to worry about driving! Shuttles will be provided between the Houston Marriott Westchase Hotel and Lakeside Country Club. Bus loads at 4:45PM and leaves at 5:00PM. Last bus of the night will be at 11:00PM.

Will parking be available at the venue?

Answer

Parking is available at Lakeside Country Club, but we encourage guests to use rideshare services (Uber, Lyft) or the complimentary hotel shuttles when possible.

What’s the best way to travel to Houston?

Answer

Houston has two airports: George Bush Intercontinental (IAH), about 30 miles from the hotel, and William P. Hobby (HOU), about 20 miles away. For more information, including details about our room block, please see our Travel page!

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved a block of rooms at the Houston Marriott Westchase. For more booking details, please visit our Travel page to secure the group rate by Thursday, April 23, 2026.

Are there plans for Friday night?

Answer

Yes! After the rehearsal dinner, we’ll be heading to Kirby Ice House Memorial for drinks. All 21+ are welcome to join us! Note: There are two Kirby Ice House locations in Houston. We’ll be at the Memorial location on Gessner: Kirby Ice House – Memorial 1015 Gessner Rd Houston, TX 77055
