Sandia Peak Tramway

The Sandia Peak Tram offers Great views while on the way to the top of the Sandia Mountain! Remember to buy your tickets ahead of time ($34 for adults & $24 for children), At the mountain Peak there is a Gift Shop, Ten 3 Restaurant and Hiking Trails!

Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel

54 Jemez Canyon Dam Road, Bernalillo, NM 87004

Whether you want to roll the dice or throw a Bowling Ball the Santa Ana Star Casino might be the right place for you! The casino Features a promenade where you can find Slots and Table Games, 3 Restaurants, 1 Lounge Bar, 1 Coffee House, and a Bowling Alley.

Wander Around Old Town

Old Town in Alburquerque is home to many local vendors, sights, historical markers, and great dining options! We purchased our favorite day of the dead ornaments here! Pay close attention to the Cannons in the center courtyard, you might see some names you recognize!

ABQ BioPark

The ABQ BioPark is a living environmental park that protects the natural world and connects communities with nature. It is a refuge for thousands of animals and plants cared for by zoological, marine, and botanical experts who lead significant science-based conservation work in New Mexico and around the world The BioPark consists of four distinct areas: ABQ BioPark Aquarium, ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden, ABQ BioPark Zoo, and Tingley Beach. It is an accredited, accessible facility that has earned the American Humane Certified seal of approval for its excellent treatment of animals and commitment to conservation. There are a limited number of tickets available each day. The ABQ BioPark encourages all guests to get their tickets in advance of their visit. Adults - $10 (New Mexico Residents*), $19.50 (Non-Residents) Seniors (65+) - $5.50 (New Mexico Residents*), $12.50 (Non-Residents) Youth (3-12) - $5 (New Mexico Residents*), $11 (Non-Residents) Children (2 and under) and Members - Free

Indian Pueblo Cultural Center

2401 12th Street Northwest, Albuquerque, NM 87102

Long before the Spanish conquistadors made their way to New Mexico, the region was home to numerous tribes of Pueblo people. Today, the cultures of these Indigenous peoples are preserved at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, which the Pueblos of New Mexico collectively own. The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center is open every day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission (which includes access to all educational events) costs $12 for out-of-state adults; $10 for in-state adults and military; $8 for seniors, students and kids ages 5 to 17; and is free for kids ages 4 and younger.

Breaking Bad RV Tours

The tour hopscotches to popular locations used for settings in the show like Jesse's house, the Dog House restaurant, Tucco's headquarters, the Los Pollos Hermanos restaurant, the car wash and Walt's house. During the tour, guides, who are all industry professionals who worked as actors or crew on "Breaking Bad" or its sequel, "Better Call Saul," offer show insights and trivia. The company recommends booking early as tours often sell out. This Tour picks up from the Old Town Plaza which is featured on the top of this list.

Paseo del Bosque Trail

Alameda Boulevard Northeast, Albuquerque, NM

Enjoy 16 miles of paved multi-use trails uninterrupted by roadways! Their are 7 different access points with parking available, more information is in the link provided. As you walk along the trail you will be enjoying public art along Tingley Beach, Central Avenue and various other spots. The trail also passes through the Rio Grande Valley State Park and provides great opportunities to see the Rio Grande Nature center, the Albuquerque BioPark (Also featured on this list!) and the National Hispanic Cultural Center!

Rio Grande Nature Center State Park

2901 Candelaria Road Northwest, Albuquerque, NM 87107

Rio Grande Nature Center State Park is located on the Rio Grande flyway, the park offers excellent birdwatching opportunities throughout the year. There are indoor and outdoor wildlife viewing areas overlooking ponds, a native plant garden, and a pollinator garden. Visitors can also access the city-managed trails to the Rio Grande and Bosque. The Visitor Center offers informative displays and a unique Nature Shop.
