Hayati and Tré met through veterinary medicine when Hayati externed at Tré's clinic in her final year of vet school. They later reconnected when Hayati moved to Eugene, though they work at separate clinics. Over the years their love has grown through their outdoor adventures together. Tré introduced Hayati to backpacking and mountain biking. Hayati taught Tré to ski. Together they bought gravel bikes and explored the valley and coastal Oregon from the bike saddle. Their dogs - Molly and Henry - have been companions through many of these shared adventures and are essential members of the family. This marriage is the start of a new chapter, a new adventure.

Backpacking adventures brought us closer together.

We've visited Mt Hood repeatedly over the years, staying at the lodge for our second anniversary in 2023, doing a family/friends ski trip in 2024, and backpacking around it when we got engaged in 2025

We learned to downhill ski together - Hayati had a headstart from her years crosscountry skiing but Tré caught up quickly and now they're well matched to ski together.
