Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Justin Hawthorne and Claudia Craig
We're so excited to share a few of our favorite things in the area with you!

Colina Cuervo

759 Nostrand Avenue, Crown Heights, NY 11216

Great coffee and breakfast in Crown Heights! This was our go-to spot when we lived in the neighborhood. Be warned, hipsters loom here.

Beanmonger Coffee

620 Union Street, Gowanus, NY 11215

Great coffee in Park Slope

Brooklyn Museum

200 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11238

Much to see inside...

Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Brooklyn, NY 11238

Fiending for foliage? Go here!

Tony's Pizza

850 Nostrand Avenue, Crown Heights, NY 11225

A solid "grab-a-slice" pizza place, and a staple of the neighborhood. We used to live across the street :)

Lil' Frankie's

19 1st Avenue, New York, NY 10003

While not in Brooklyn, this cash only Italian eatery is worth taking the trip to the Lower East Side. This is undoubtedly some of the best pizza we’ve ever had.

Gloria's

987 Nostrand Avenue, Crown Heights, NY 11225

The original location featured in Anthony Bourdain's, Parts Unknown has closed, but you can still get the ox tail at the remaining location here.

Baz Bagel

181 Grand Street, New York, NY 10013

Shalom Manhattan. This is one of our favorites for hand-rolled bagels, smoked fish & other Jewish comfort food.

McSorley’s Old Ale House

15 East 7th Street, New York, NY 10003

Do you like margaritas? Gluten free options? Martinis? Too fucking bad. This place does beer. Light or dark, those are the only options. Established in 1854-McSorley’s is New York City’s oldest continuously operated saloon.
