A solid "grab-a-slice" pizza place, and a staple of the neighborhood. We used to live across the street :)
While not in Brooklyn, this cash only Italian eatery is worth taking the trip to the Lower East Side. This is undoubtedly some of the best pizza we’ve ever had.

Shalom Manhattan. This is one of our favorites for hand-rolled bagels, smoked fish & other Jewish comfort food.
Do you like margaritas? Gluten free options? Martinis? Too fucking bad. This place does beer. Light or dark, those are the only options. Established in 1854-McSorley’s is New York City’s oldest continuously operated saloon.
