This is a cute area about a mile from our Reception venue that has a ton of easy hiking trails and a pond.  We originally planned to rent out one of the pavilions for our wedding until we found out about the Inn down the road.

Chatfield Hollow State Park

This is our go-to place for our bird/wildlife photography.  There's a specific area there called Meig's Point that has a trail to do just that and also a nature center.  Not into birds?  There's also a ton of beaches and camping.

Hammonasset Beach State Park

For anyone heading back towards Branford after the wedding, this is where we took our engagement pictures!  It's perfect for a small walk or to relax by the water.
