We actually met as coworkers. I was in my first year of college, working full time, while Bill was still a minor during his senior year of high school. Before you get any ideas, we were not together while he was a minor. To be truthful, we were barely acquaintances at the time. He started getting less hours at the store and I was working to complete my AA before joining the Army. He requested to follow me on Instagram and that was that. We didn’t speak for years after and were just strangers on each other’s feed. Around the time he messaged me on Instagram, I was actually insistent on being a happy, independent, single women not in search of a relationship to fill any void. But when he exclaimed how cute my little angel Jake was, I knew the man had his priorities straight. We talked and went out “as friends” a couple times, but he was persistent and I was hooked. Look at us now, doing the thing!
