We're Getting Married

Believe it or not… we met on FaceTime. Ashley’s best friend, Opal, had just started working at the Riviera Beach Police Department. During her training days, Ashley and Opal were constantly on FaceTime — laughing, talking, and catching up like always. One day, a curious coworker kept hearing the laughter in the background and finally asked, “Who are you always on the phone with?” That coworker was Justin. He stepped into the FaceTime call, and at first Ashley didn’t think much of it — Opal always introduced her to her coworkers. But then she actually looked at him… and thought, oh, he’s cute. And Justin? He thought the same. What started as playful banter turned into something more. For days, they “texted” through Opal’s phone while Justin was at work. Ashley would get butterflies every time Opal messaged her — knowing it probably wasn’t Opal at all. And just like that, a FaceTime interruption turned into forever.
