It was a bright and early day for Megan and Chris on January 14th, 2024. With about 20 inches of fresh snow on its way to the mountains, they decided to go uphill skiing and snow shoeing at Winter Park. They woke up around 4am (of course Chris never actually went to bed), gathered their belongings, and headed over to Megan's sisters house. Megan, Chris, Ryann, and Henry made the adventurous journey through the mountains in the middle of a blizzard. (Thank you Henry for Driving.) They arrived at Winter Park, strapped into their gear, and headed up Corona Way. At around 7:45am Chris proclaimed he was exhausted, only 20 minutes into the hike, and needed to stop for water. There, in the middle of a blizzard, with no one else on the trail, Chris got down on one knee and asked THE question! Megan said yes and the rest is HERstory. No, we never got water.
