We’re getting married!

On the morning of our engagement, it seemed like any other day. I didn’t notice any changes. As soon as I got to work, Scott handed me a note from Jake that explained what was about to happen. He told me that he designed a scavenger hunt for me and the first clue would be found where Greyson sleeps. I dropped everything and ran back home. I immediately texted Allie to tell her what was going on because I was dying to tell someone. After picking up the next clue, I headed to where we had our first date. When I got there I was looking all over for where my clue might be in a public area. I then realized someone was walking towards me and my eyes finally registered it was Allie. Her face told me that the suspicions I’d had the entire time were correct. My next stop was where we had our first kiss, which would be in my parent’s driveway. When I got to their house, I was really confused. I was driving there certain that this would be the last stop. While driving down the road I saw no cars in the driveway at all. I was completely thrown off. I pulled in and then saw a big sign on the side of the RV and Jake walked out from behind it. The sign said “Will you marry me?” I was thrilled to say yes! The effort that Jake put in for the proposal was a shock in itself. He pulled out all the stops to keep me guessing until the very end. I couldn’t imagine a better way!
