FAQs

Question

Why are you choosing an intimate ceremony?

Answer

We decided to do a close-knit ceremony because it felt right for us. We wanted to focus on what truly mattered to us—an intimate and meaningful exchange of vows without the pressure and expense of a big wedding. Not only was the cost of a large celebration was enormous for us (and not what we wanted) but planning was complicated with family scattered all across the world. We also understood that a large destination gathering wasn’t feasible for everyone to attend, whether financially, physically or otherwise so we opted for a more personal and heartfelt experience. A small ceremony felt like the perfect way to create lasting memories together, with our parents and under God while reducing stress for all involved.

Question

Why are there limited items on your registry?

Answer

We chose to keep our registry intentionally on the smaller side, as we’re incredibly fortunate to already have much of what we need—especially after unexpectedly purchasing our home in late 2025. We are deeply grateful to our parents for helping us with our elopement. With flights already booked, and our rooms already paid for- our focus will be on enjoying our stay and creating meaningful memories together. We’ve included a few keepsakes we’d love—such as photo albums, camera/video film and Polaroid film—to help us preserve those moments for years to come. Beyond that, for those who wish to contribute, we are gratefully accepting honeymoon, home improvement, date night, etc. monetary contributions. This can be done in our registry, however there is a card processing fee. If you wish to avoid that, we can accept contributions via check for our U.S. family and Wise for our international loved ones. If neither option works for you, please feel free to reach out to Taylor, Tracey or Vanya. Most of all, we’re just so incredibly thankful for your love and support as we begin this next chapter together.

Question

What's something personal we can get you both?

Answer

On our registry we have a Linen Letter Box titled 'Love Letters from our Wedding Guests'- this is a little keepsake to keep our letters from you! While we won't be having a celebration for everyone to attend, we would deeply love & treasure a handwritten card/letter with your love, advice, or really anything you'd like to say to us! We look forward to reading each and every one of them and saving them in this box so we can read over them for years to come.

Question

Wait...when's the honeymoon? And where are the pictures??

Answer

We will be tying the knot on August 27th, 2026 in Laguna Beach, California. After our elopement, we will be honeymooning in Hawai'i for the first part of September! We are blessed enough to have our photographer joining us both in Laguna Beach & in Hawai'i! We also have a super8 videographer for our elopement in California. All that being said...photography and videography is an art and art takes time. Our videos will be done on analog super8 film- this means the film has to get sent out to the lab, developed, digitized, sent to our videographer and then sent to us. Our photos will not be quite as complicated of a process but still takes a good chunk of time to get back! Once we get everything back, we will post plenty of photos and videos to our social media and to our website here to enjoy.
