Once upon a time in the enchanted kingdom of Portland, Princess Havi studied at the Royal Academy of Knowledge. With her quick mind and kind heart, she secretly admired Prince Edward, known throughout the realm for his noble character. Princess Havi had heard tales of the prince from her lady-in-waiting, whose heart belonged to Sir Andrew (Newell), one of Edward's loyal knights. From these stories alone, her heart fluttered at his name. During the Frost Moon, they shared two royal courses—English Writing with Master Sean and Innovation with Wizard Sam. The clever princess devised a strategy, timing her departure to coincide with Prince Edward's, hoping destiny might bring them together. Then came the day of the Great Innovation Quiz. Princess Havi lingered after completing her parchment, watching as Prince Edward finished his work. As they rose to leave, the prince held open the heavy oak door for her. "And thus," the kingdom's storytellers would later say, "their tale began." Walking together across the castle grounds, they spoke of simple matters—the quiz they had both conquered with equal skill (18 points of 20) and the upcoming festivities. Soon, they began acknowledging one another with shy smiles. Prince Edward created a royal message scroll including Princess Havi and Sir Peter (Earnshaw) to discuss their studies. Before long, he sent private scrolls directly to Havi, and they formed their own secret study circle. All this time, Princess Havi's heart grew fonder. Little did she know that Prince Edward had been enchanted by her from their first meeting. "I would never have spoken to her if my heart had not recognized something special," he later confessed. During a moonlit game of Fugitive, Princess Havi and her companion became lost in the dark forest without their magical communication crystals. Through fortune, they encountered a woodsman who knew Sir Andrew (Kranzt) and summoned help. The prince and his knights, who had been searching frantically, swiftly came to her rescue. While Princess Havi journeyed to NYC for a gathering of royal scribes, Prince Edward sent her a magical message asking for her hand in formal courtship. Princess Havi celebrated with her scribes, leaping on her chamber bed in delight. But alas! A terrible plague swept across the lands. Though their first courtship meeting was delayed by two and a half moons, they used enchanted mirrors to see each other's faces every night. When Princess Havi returned to Portland in the Flower Month, Prince Edward braved the plague to visit her castle. Their first traditional courtship outing was a magical picnic at Council Crest, where Prince Edward realized that his heart belonged completely to Princess Havi and that she was his one true love. They completed their royal educations in 2021 and 2022, and the years passed with adventures aplenty. They adopted Sir Boone, a magnificent hound, to guard their growing love and journeyed to the distant kingdom of Charlotte, where Prince Edward worked in the royal treasury while Princess Havi taught young minds. After gaining the blessing of the King and Queen, Prince Edward planned his proposal. Exactly four years from their first courtship, on a sunny Irish day, he asked Princess Havi to walk the castle grounds. While she delighted in watching sheep and named a caterpillar "Sir Cornelius," he told of his deep love and, asking the most important question of his life, presented a magical ring that sparkled like a thousand stars. Princess Havi, though astonished, accepted without hesitation. Their royal wedding in Charleston will unite their houses forever. Every day since their first meeting, Prince Edward has been grateful that his past self held that door for the beautiful princess. Through five years of adventures, he has never stopped appreciating that the most beautiful, kind, and altogether magical princess in all the realms has chosen him. And they will indeed live happily ever after.
