Question

Are my children invited?

Answer

If your children’s name are listed on your invitation, yes! Otherwise, we kindly ask that just the adults in your family attend. Use our nuptials as a fun date night or weekend away!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation specifies that you have received a plus-one, absolutely. If not, we promise you will have plenty of friends and family to enjoy the evening with! We want to remember our special day being surrounded by ones we know, love, and cherish.

Do I have to RSVP?

Answer

YES! We want as many of our loved ones to be apart of our day as possible, but we can’t make it happen until we know you will for sure be joining us. RSVPing yes (or no) helps us finalize our plans including food, seating, and other preparations.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than December 29, 2023. This gives us and our vendors approximately six weeks to plan for the correct number of guests who will be attending the wedding. If there is a specific reason you cannot RSVP by this date, please let us know and submit your RSVP as soon as possible. Thank you!

What if I forget to RSVP?

Answer

Unfortunately, you will not be permitted to attend our wedding if you do not RSVP by the allotted date. We have a limited amount of space in our beautiful venue, and anyone who knows the Bowers and/or Easons knows that this is not fun for us to enforce!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please avoid colors typically reserved for the bride - whites, creams, ivories, etc. We request guests adhere to semi-formal attire and use your best judgement when deciding on outerwear and attire to be suitable for the potential cold weather.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. We suggest arriving by at least 3:30pm sharp so you can stop by our unique coffee truck for something delicious and warm to take into the ceremony! Arriving early also allows you to comfortably park, navigate our wonderful venue and make your way to the Birdsong Chapel before we say "I DO"!

Is there parking for the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony and reception are located in the same venue, and the Cornealius Properties has ample parking. Signs will assist you in navigation once you follow your GPS to our location.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing beer and wine for guests during cocktail hour and dinner/dancing. Please use your best judgment and know your limits when drinking on our big day!

How does seating work?

Answer

Our ceremony seating will be open seating in pews, please sit wherever you'd like! For the reception, seating is carefully arranged at tables, so please be on the lookout for the seating chart. Our guests will be sat with others they know (including partners and families) to the best of our ability.

February is going to be cold... Is the ceremony or reception inside and/or heated?

Answer

We are praying for some miraculous warmth on our big day, however, we are preparing to bundle up as best we can! The ceremony is covered but does have open-air walls. Blankets will be provided, but no heating. Cocktail hour is also outdoors, but numerous space heaters will be provided. The reception is inside and heated. We will dance and dine the cold away:)

What time will the reception end?

Answer

We plan to conclude the reception by 10pm.

What if I have a few too many by the reception's end and shouldn't drive?

Answer

Our #1 priority is ensuring the safety of all our loved ones. That being said, we still want all of our guests to have a good time! Uber and other rideshare apps are all navigatable to the venue. The Cornealius Properties allows cars to be left in the lot overnight as long as they are picked up by 9:00am SHARP the following day (Saturday, February 3rd). This time is hard and enforced as another wedding will be taking place on the property the next day.
