Pack layers! April days in the Vail Valley could be sunny with temperatures in the 50s - 60s or they could get chilly. Nights can still get down to the 20s. The air will be dry. It can be helpful to have lotion and chap stick on hand.
Eagle's elevation is 6,600ft. The town of Vail, at the other end of the valley, is 8,150ft. To prevent altitude sickness, make sure to hydrate, rest if feeling dizzy or nauseous, and plan enough hours for sleep.
The cabins at Frost Creek have full kitchens! Consider stopping by the store on the way through Eagle before arriving at Frost Creek. There is no cell service in Frost Creek outside of using wifi calling in the cabins and the clubhouse. The cell service drops shortly outside the town of Eagle. The drive between the town and Frost Creek is a little more than 15 minutes. It's a good idea to put the Frost Creek address in GPS before leaving Eagle.
The welcome dinner on Friday night is casual. The wedding ceremony and reception are cocktail attire.
Both the wedding and reception will be held at the Frost Creek Golf Clubhouse. The wedding ceremony will be outside and the reception will be inside. Please check the weather that day and dress comfortably for sitting outside for an hour long service during a high mountain April.
Yes! Whole families are included on the wedding invitations. Please bring your children.

YES! The wedding in Colorado on April 11th will be a smaller event due to time and space constraints. We will have a reception in Virginia at a later date with our whole family and many friends.
