FAQs

The Wedding Website of Margarethe Hauschildt and Joshua Sullivan
Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP via our wedding website. Simply click on the RSVP tab, enter your name, and indicate your attendance for all events.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We have one coach bus doing a loop twice between the Hampton Inn (Carrboro-Chapel Hill) and the venue. This is first come first serve, so please aim to be on the first bus if you need the ride! The first bus will leave at 4pm and the second around 4:30pm. The first bus will depart the venue at 9:30pm and the second at 10pm. There are typically plenty of uber or lyft drivers in the area if needed. If you are driving, there is free parking at the venue and they allow cars to stay overnight if you end up having too much fun and need to get a ride home! ***Type in the actual address of the venue (103 Lancaster Dr, Chapel Hill) if you are using a GPS***

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your kids, we’ve decided to have an adults-only ceremony and reception. Please reach out to Margarethe or Joshua if you would like to bring your little one(s) to the welcome party or goodbye brunch. Thank you for making arrangements and for your understanding.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding attire is "garden formal." Think light fabrics, floral patterns, linen or light suits, and breathable fabrics. It will feel like a New England July, so be prepared for some heat and humidity! Please refrain from wearing all white dresses.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Please refrain from using your phone and taking pictures during the ceremony. We have hired wonderful photographers to capture our day and would love to see your faces, and not a phone in front of your face, when looking at those photos. Feel free to use your phones as much as you want outside of the ceremony!

Question

How should we address the bride and groom?

Answer

Margarethe will be keeping her maiden name, Hauschildt, after the wedding but does not mind being addressed as "The Sullivans" socially or in letters. Feel free to use any iteration of our names, including but not limited to: Dr. Hauschildt and Mr. Sullivan, the Hauschildt-Sullivans, Mrs. and Mr. Sullivan, Dr. M and her husband, etc.
