Tips for December in Helsinki

- Dress warmly, average temperatures range from -5°C to +2°C. Layers, gloves, and hats are essential! - The days are short (sunrise ~9:30, sunset ~15:00), but Helsinki is beautifully lit with Christmas lights. - Payment is easy everywhere, most places accept cards and mobile payments.

Getting to the wedding venue

To get to the wedding venue (Hotel Rantapuisto) you can take the metro M2 to Rastila and then the bus 560 (direction Myyrmäki), stop at Ramsinniementie. To get your public transport ticket, download the app HSL on your phone and buy a single ticket for A and B zones. You can also pay directly using your credit card as well. You can also just use Bolt or Uber which are very popular in Helsinki. Some of our friends have cars and we are sure some will have free space and will be happy to drive you, so please do not hesitate to contact us if you want us to arrange a ride for you.

Getting from the airport to Helsinki and back

You can use the bus 600 or the train to easily get from the Helsinki-Vantaa to the city center (Rautatientori station). You need the app HSL and directly buy a ticket (Zones ABC). You can also pay directly using your credit card as well.
