We cross paths through our mutual friends Christoph and Porscha on a road trip through Namibia and South Africa in April of 2017.

Years pass and Jordan and Zane reconnect in Chicago in 2020. Zane makes his first visit to see Jordan where she is living in D.C. a few months later.

The world shuts down and Jordan packs up a suit case to wait out the pandemic in Chicago.

In late Summer 2020, Jordan makes the move to Chicago official and she and Zane pack up her stuff to move her from D.C. back home.

Years pass and we make memories doing some of our favorite things including traveling and getting outside.

On April 25th, 2023, Zane asks Jordan to marry him at the top of the rainforest canopy during a sunrise hike in the jungles of Guatemala.

In October of 2023 Jordan and Zane buy their first home and kick off their wedding planning!
