We’re getting Married!!!

Alex and Sarah first met, officially, in early June, 2018. They were both working at Raleigh Duluth Edison when Sarah first saw, and then later, met Alex. To start things out, Alex gained custody of his two nephews Cullen (14) and Noah (10) in late October of 2017. His older half-sister lost custody due to opioid addiction. Alex is now their legal guardian as of Oct. 2018! So, Alex was visiting Noah in the classroom for a project the children had created out of Legos, when Sarah first saw Alex. Sarah was Noah's paraprofessional at the time, so she had heard about Alex. Sarah had noticed that Alex was missing part of an eyebrow (allergy reaction) and was wearing all black. Naturally Sarah thought Alex was a thug... Knowing that 'Uncle Alex' had recently gained custody of Noah she thought, "He's probably just in it for the money... Ugh! The system will go round-and-round for these poor boys!" Days later, Noah started to talk about the many intentional and Godly things Alex did with him and his brother. Sarah realized her first impressions were very off... Starting in December of that year, Alex had started working as a recess monitor. Sarah would see him in passing in the hallways and tried to share a smile every so often, but he never noticed. Months later, during the last few days of school, Sarah was filling in for another staff member in the cafeteria, when Alex approached her, saying "Ms. Socha, right?". Sarah responded with, "Mr. Alex, right?". They had a very nice conversation leaving them both in anticipation for their next encounter. Two days later, on the last day of school, Sarah approached Alex on the playground. Again, they had a very nice talk, learning more about one another's life. The whistle blew and it was time to end the conversation. Alex then asked Sarah for permission to add her on Facebook. He messaged her that very night after she had fallen asleep. They went on their first date one week later! And the rest is history! Thank you Jesus!
