We're "Married" but still want to Celebrate with You!

The story is pretty unique. Brandon's personality shined through, loudly, to Kendra as she was bartending. Brandon was at the bar with her brother Kyle and a friend and he developed a crush. Kendra and Brandon continued to talk for 6 months until Brandon returned back to New York from Cali, and things never were the same since. They took their first "date" at the Hotey for cocktails after one of Kendra's shifts, Brandon spent every single night home with her and they had their first dinner date at Babe's Macaroni Grill... <3 From then on through different states and multiple trial separations... one thing remained true, they always felt "home" with one another.

Dec 18 has always been meaningful to Kendra and Brandon as they do not celebrate anything, including holidays in a typical fashion. Every year since 2010 they have celebrated their "Christmas" together on Dec 18. This date then was decided on by them both mutually that it would be their anniversary, for no other reason other than they cannot place a time where they started actually dating, and it was easier to lump everything together! Anyways, Dec 18 2016 Brandon brought Kendra to TS Steakhouse for dinner for the first time. Brandon anxiously awaited their seat at the table and pulled out a ring immediately with appetizers. He gave Kendra a speech about buying property, doing life and dealing with each other for a while and knew she wanted a prize and gave her an "engagement" ring. There was no intent of marriage at this point, just a promise to always be there and eventually get married when the time was right! ... Fast forward...

Brandon and Kendra then continued on to buy a home in 2018, a new puppy, new vehicles and have been going through new job ventures and building a steady and strong life they both feel comfortable with. Brandon got a new job in 2019 working for Verizon Wireless as Lineman and Kendra started back to school, soon to be graduating as a BSN RN. In the midst of all of this COVID-19 struck and Kendra and Brandon were faced with increased stress, worry typical life situations that everyone else has also faced! During this time the two believed they grew closer and learned a lot about the meaning of a home, relationship and partnership. On July 25, 2020 at Brandon and Mel's ( Kendras Maid of Honor) birthday party in front of all their friends and family, Brandon got down on one knee and proposed to Kendra " The right way" because he believed she deserved that much more from him. This union comes 10 years into their relationship and continues to grow stronger each day... Cant wait for proposal 3 ! HAHA

We had our legal ceremony December 18, 2020. It was a small intimate gathering with our family and a few close friends. We were sad not to share this amazing moment in our lives with everyone in person, but had a zoom meeting that brought you all close! Since we have always loved to vacation spend time with our friends we thought why not make the wedding a combination of the two! We are excited to host a Jack and Jill this summer, July 10th and hope to have you all there (we know, it's pretty backwards). We have confirmed our date to be March 21, 2022 for our Symbolic Ceremony and Reception.
