Things To Do

There are so many things to do in LA! But here are some of our favorites..
Santa Monica Pier

Santa Monica Pier

200 Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica, CA 90401

Santa Monica Pier has some great food options and entertainment for the whole family! Featured is the world's only solar-powered Ferris Wheel, where you can see beautiful views of the ocean.

El Matador State Beach

El Matador State Beach

32215 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265
, (818) 880-0363

One of our favorite places in LA! Drive the Pacific Coast Highway for beautiful views of the ocean and mountains. It can be busy during sunset, so make sure to go early to find parking.

Venice Beach

Venice Beach

Venice Beach, Los Angeles, CA 90291

Venice is known for it's iconic beachfront boardwalk, where performers and artists line the street. Stop by the outdoor weight room at Muscle Beach Gym, once the home turf of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Marina del Rey

Marina del Rey

Marina del Rey, CA 90292

Marina Del Rey has cute stores and plenty of restaurants along the ocean, but if you take a look by the piers you can see some sea lions. Walk down to the dock to rent paddle boards or boats for a chance to see them up close in the water!

Dodger Stadium

Dodger Stadium

1000 Vin Scully Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012

This is one of Matthew's favorite activites that we don't do nearly enough. Since 1962, this Major League ballpark has hosted ten World Series, the 2022 All-Star Game, and the Dodgers have won five World Championships.

Banc of California Stadium

Banc of California Stadium

3939 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90037

We would HIGHLY recommend this for soccer fans. LAFC is often described has having a European or South American soccer atmosphere unlike any other in MLS.

Griffith Observatory

Griffith Observatory

2800 East Observatory Road, Los Angeles, CA 90027

The Griffith Observatory has been featured in popular films such as The Terminator, La La Land, and Rebel Without a Cause. You can see breathtaking panoramic views of Los Angeles and the Hollywood sign. TIP: Parking is hard to find. We would recommend parking down the hill and taking the free shuttle up.

Koreatown

Koreatown

3465 W 6th St., Los Angeles, CA 90020

Koreatown has a plethora of amazing food, shopping, and entertainment. Some of our favorite places include Quarters Korean BBQ, Louders, Silverlake Ramen and Oakobing for a refreshing Korean dessert! For a night out, check out Lock and Key and Break Room 86 for Karaoke.

Hollywood Boulevard

Hollywood Boulevard

6925 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028

Walk along Hollywood Boulevard to see the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame, TCL Chinese Theater, Dolby Theater, Hollywood Pantages Theater, and the Hollywood Museum or Wax Museum. We recommend going during a week day or in the morning to avoid congestion and to find street parking.

Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood

100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608

We don't have to convince you why you should visit Universal Studios, but even if you don't go want to spend a day on thrill rides, we would still recommend at least visiting the CityWalk. With restaurants, indoor skydiving, cinemas, and live music, CityWalk has 30-acres of endless options.

For all the days along the way
