Where should I stay?

We have put together a list of hotels in the surrounding area. You can find the link here on our website! Please note if you choose to stay in Dallas, it is about an hour or so to the venue!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

October in Texas, is generally characterized by very pleasant, autumn-like weather, featuring warm, sunny afternoons and cooler, comfortable evenings. It is considered one of the best times of the year to visit, acting as a bridge between the intense summer heat and colder winter weather.

What should I wear?

Answer

We ask that you wear a suit, or an evening gown or a midi-or-knee length cocktail dress would be appropriate. We only ask that guest refrain from wearing any shade of green or gold.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that guest arrive no later than 3:30pm for the Ceremony, as chapel doors will close at 4pm. If you arrive after 4pm, you will have to enter through the top entrance in order to get into the chapel.

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony will take place in the chapel, located right on the Brighton Abbey location where the reception will be taking place. 1720 Dr. Sanders Rd. Aubrey, TX 76227

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

No. We ask that guest arrive with those listed on their rsvp, as we have a limited guest count for the venue and assigned seating. We want our wedding to be a special day spent with close family and friends, thank you for your understanding.

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

No. While we adore the children in our family, we've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration, as well as to meet our venue guest count. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening. If you have any concerns or special circumstances, please don't hesitate to contact us directly to discuss further.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

All RSVPs should be done via our website once the official invitations are sent out (these will be sent out a few months before the wedding). You can follow the barcode on your invitation or on the RSVP link on our website. Please RSVP no later than August 21st!
