I couldn't ask for a better sister in law -- well, I suppose not by "law" yet, but soon to be! She has been through many ups and downs, and is such a great support person. Sam grew up in West Des Moines with her parents and brother. She and Matt were married in November 2020 and had their first child in September 2022, Wesson Alan Thompson. They also have a fur baby named Izzy.

What can I say- Alyssa is one of the good ones. It feels like we've been friends forever, but I guess considering I've known her for almost as long as I have known Eric it might as well be forever! Alyssa grew up in the Stuart area, and moved to Des Moines in 2007. She lived with us for a number of years and was a wonderful "second mom" to our boys for many years. She is a nurse practitioner for The Iowa Clinic Cardiology team. She and Rick have a blended family consisting of Rick's children, Mason and Madison, as well as their daughter together, Riley. And let's not forget their fur child Lola!

Cousin... sister... friend... too many titles I could apply to our relationship, but regardless of what you want to call us, I couldn't celebrate this special day without her by my side! Ashley married Nate in 2019 and together they live in Norwalk with her 3 children, Aubri, Hayleigh, Braxton, and their adorable daughter Braelynn. Not to be forgotten is their fur baby Remy! Ashley works for Delta Dental here in Des Moines.

Eric's brother... AKA our set up person all the way back in April 2004. Without him, Eric and I wouldn't be together today. Regardless of his size, he will always be my "little" brother at heart! Matt is a manager at MidAmerican Energy, and enjoys boating, hunting, and shooting.

Eric's best friend for life. They've been through thick and thin, but are always there to back each other up. Rick also works for MidAmerican Energy as a lineman. Always a busy man, but will drop everything on a dime if you need him.

We may have only known Scott for a few short years, but I can't imagine celebrating our day without him! Scott works for Wells Fargo here in Des Moines. He enjoys traveling and lots of cuddles with his nieces, nephews, and of course his good buddy Izzy (Matt and Sam's fur baby).
