Question

What can we expect at your off-grid wedding?

Answer

You can expect to be surrounded by nature with our family and friends. Our cabin is fully off-grid and located on 5 Mile Creek, so take that in to account as you plan and pack! Rest assured, we do have solar power, generators, drinkable water, toilets, etc. Plan to disconnect for a bit! The terrain is slightly hilly and grassy, so wear appropriate shoes! We will have a generator to power the dance floor and will provide beverages and food. We have potable water, but you may want to bring a water bottle to reduce waste.

Question

How do I get there?

Answer

Use Google Maps for GPS directions. Apple Maps will take you to the wrong destination. Our cabin is rural, and phone service is spotty. Make sure to download the map and directions before leaving. Directions from Saint Paul, MN (2 Hours): Head North on I-35E. (78 miles) Take exit 183 for MN-48E toward County 61/Hinckley (23 miles) Continue onto WI-77 E (4 miles) In Danbury, Wayne's is the last stop for groceries! Turn left onto WI-35 N/WI-77 E (2.2 miles) Turn right onto WI-77 E (16 miles) Turn left on Bridge Road (1.9 miles), which will turn into Misty Bog Rd as you pass over the Totogatic River. (2.3 miles) Turn left on Nancy Lake Road (1 mile to cabin). Park on the gravel road!

Question

Will there be restrooms?

Answer

Yes! There will be a newly built chic outhouse, a port-a-potty, and hand-washing station.

Question

Answer

Yes, there will be plenty of potable water stations. To minimize waste, please bring a water bottle. There will be no running water.
