Our proposal was a true representation of the hurdles we have jumped over to only become much stronger as a couple and to truly learn more about one another. Adam and I met for our 1st date on the very first day of 2021 and honestly it was the absolute best 1st date. To instantly feel comfortable with one another and spend hours just sitting there laughing with each other and simply living in the moment was all that we could ask for in a first date. It was from that moment on that we would spend the next few months learning and growing together. We had our ups and downs but we also learned what we both deserved in a relationship and that everything we endured in the previous years led us to right where we were meant to be. We pushed one another to become the person we wanted to be for one another. We encouraged each other to be strong and follow our hearts. We worked our way through situations that other's might give up on and walk away from. We both weren't about to give up. Fast forward to the moment Adam got down on his knee on the bridge crossing over Indian creek where we first met, about to open up the box that held the ring he spent weeks customizing. As he opened the box the ring fell out onto the bridge and began to bounce over each and every crack between the boards coming to rest about a foot away from the edge of the bridge. That moment truly was a representation of everything we jumped over to land right where we were in that exact moment. We are so excited to take the next step and to become the Clark family of five. We can't wait to share our special day with all of our family and friends.
