Country Club Plaza
The Plaza is our favorite spot to walk around and kill time. Mackenzie lived within walking distance right after we graduated college and now teaches Pilates at the Club Pilates on the plaza. Countless shops and stores, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Puttery is an indoor mini putt-putt place we like to go to. Gram & Dun is our favorite restaurant, especially their brunch! Odowd's is a fun bar with an outdoor rooftop, and Prime Social is an upscale cocktail bar we enjoy.
Crossroads Art District
The Crossroads is one of our favorite spots to go out with friends. We frequent King G, the Parlor, Up Down, Boulevard Brewery, Green Lady Lounge, and Grinders.
Kansas City Power and Light District
KC P&L is in the heart of downtown. It is home to KC Live, many bars, restaurants, hotels, etc.
Union Station Kansas City
Union Station is a Kansas City staple located next to the National World War I Memorial. The WWI museum is nationally recognized. Inside the train station, you will find Science City, a planetarium, a model train gallery, Pierpont's restaurant, and a rotating exhibit that varies.
Crown Center
Crown Center is a family-friendly spot with a bunch of activities for kids. Home of Hallmark headquarters, the Aquarium, Lego land, and Kaleidoscope.
