Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

John and Stacey Hartnett

Parents of the Bride

John and Stacey could not be more excited for this day. After a year of planning, they want to thank everyone for being here and all of the people who helped make this day possible. There's a really good chance John gets to the cookie table before anyone else does and there's a better chance you will be able to hear Stacy laughing even if you are outside the venue and down the street. There is nothing but many blessings toward their daughter and new son-in-law on their wedding day.

Bill and Robin Barker

Parents of the Groom

Bill and Robin could not be happier to see their son and bonus daughter getting married. They want to say thank you to every person involved in planning and how excited they are to see everyone at the wedding. Bill will be happily relaxing with a glass of Jim Beam and Robin will be soaking in every single moment and also probably crying. Don't worry they are happy tears. Many blessings to the newlyweds and the new journey they are starting.

Kayla Hartnett

Maid of Honor

While Kayla is very excited to be at her older sister's wedding, she would much rather prefer that Shannon and Billy elope and take a vacation to Colorado. Kayla was originally against Billy's charming disposition and sometimes stubborn opinions but has since decided there is no one better for her best friend. You will probably find Kayla drinking a peach schnapps and ginger ale while getting down to "Yeah" by Usher on the dancefloor. Don't forget to ask about her super-cool-Penelope-Garcia-cybersecurity job.

Robby Barker

Best Man

Brotherly love is important. Good thing these brothers finally figured out how to get along after years of wrestling as kids. Once upon a time, Billy, as the older brother, was easily able to pin Robby. Then Robby grew much bigger than Billy and their wrestling matches turned into Robby becoming the UFC Barker champion. You will probably find Robby examining the buffet table trying to decide if the food is okay for him to eat and avoiding veggies at all costs. Try going drink for drink with Robby and you probably won't remember where you lost your socks at.

Alaina Hartnett

Maid of Honor

Alaina, as the youngest sister and member of the wedding party, is excited to be at this wedding that she has been waiting on since she was about nine years old. Now at seventeen, Alaina will probably never let anyone forget that she was the last one to know that Billy had bought the ring. Be sure to ask Alaina about the four different sports that she plays in high school and how much she is going to miss living with her big sister.

Richard Hartnett

Groomsman

Richard is shared equally by the bride and groom. He is Billy's best friend and Shannon's cousin. Fun fact about Richard: most of his family calls him Connor except for the bride's immediate family. Why is this? Because Billy started calling him Richard in 9th grade and they never looked back. You will probably find Richard attempting to dance and not spill his drink at the same time. Be sure to ask him how many fire calls he has gone to at 3:00 in the morning only for them to be cancelled at 3:05.

Arli Tilves

Bridesmaid

Arli and Shannon met while working at Sandcastle and now Arli likes to consider herself a fourth Hartnett sister sometimes. There is a really good chance that every conversation you have with Arli will make you laugh. You will probably find her at the wedding laughing with Grandma Judy and making sure the bride is fully enjoying herself. If there is any funny business going on that stresses out the bride Arli is going to pull a Tony Soprano and have it "taken care of."

Aaron Tebbe

Groomsman

Originally, Aaron was only Richard's friend, but then when Billy started attending his girlfriend's and best friend's swim meets, he decided Aaron Tebbe was the next Michael Phelps and a friendship blossomed. Tebbe enjoys caring for all plants, eating very large portions of vegetarian food, and traveling. You should ask him about his solo trip to Europe this past summer and all the places he visited.

Elizabeth Kubancek

Bridesmaid

Elizabeth is Shannon's only maternal first cousin. Also close in age, they grew up together sharing their grandma and lots of really good memories. Now as an adult, Lizzy is excited to be in her cousins wedding and is really looking forward to watching Billy bust a move to Boogie Shoes. Make sure you ask her how the softball team is doing at Seton Hill.

Nick Abraham

Groomsman

Nick and Billy have been friends since grade school. Between weeklong sleepovers at each other's houses and countless stories about getting in trouble at youth group no one really knows who was more of the bad influence on each other. Thankfully neither of them gets into nearly as much trouble as they used to in middle school.

Gary Sciulli

Groomsman

Last on the groomsman list, but certainly not least is Gary, Billy and Shan's friend from youth group days. Gary is the guy to call when you are in Oakland and need some suggestions on where to grab a good bite to eat. Specifically, he might suggest Monday wing night at Fat Heads. Gary also probably knows at least one person that you know. Between attending Alderdice in High School and Pitt University for college Gary knows a good number of people in Pittsburgh.

Rick Morgan

Officiant

Once upon a time Rick guessed that Billy and Shannon would start dating in youth group. What he didn't guess is that he would be officiating their wedding nine years later. Yes, Rick is Billy and Shannon's pastor at Source Church, but don't let that fool you into thinking this means he can't bust a move on the dance floor. Also, a big thank you to Rick for providing the limo services for the wedding. (Yes, he owns a limo company, crazy right).
