We're getting married!

We officially met our senior year of high school at Rising Sun. We had probably run into each other at some point prior, but senior year was when it all started. A few of our mutual friends thought we'd be good prom dates, one thing lead to another and he was bringing me Duck Donuts to ask me to the dance! From there we decided to just be friends since college was starting soon, but we always found our way back to one another. After a night at the Cecil County Fair, Sean asked me to be his girlfriend and the rest is history. We've been together for over seven wonderful years. Through college, the beginning of adulthood, bringing home pets, buying a home, and so much more, it has always been the two of us.

For the past few months, we have been planning dates for one another. Each month, one of us will plan an at-home date and the other will plan something out-and-about. October was Sean's at-home date and he went all out. I assumed it was just because October is one of our favorite months, but he had something much bigger in the works. After puzzles, fall movies, a walk, and a lot of nervous talking, Sean got us some pumpkins to carve. Once we were finished, Sean pulled out a pumpkin carved with "Marry Me?" that he had carved at 1am the previous day. Through the many tears I said, "yes, of course."
