Question

Will you be having a reception?

Answer

Yes! This IS the same website, just repurposed for our delayed-by-two-years reception! We're so excited to get to party hardy with all our favorite people!

Question

How did Emily and Tanner meet?

Answer

Long story short, Emily needed a date to homecoming and the first guy she was going to go with was a big jerk. Our mutual friend set us up and 10 years (what?!) later here we are!

Question

Do I have to stay the whole time?

Answer

I guess if you absolutely HAVE to leave, you can... Just kidding! You can leave whenever you would like to, but you might miss out on some once-in-a-lifetime memories.

Question

Can I take pictures for the 'gram at the party?

Answer

Absolutely! We'll still have a photographer to capture some absolutely amazing shots, but if you feel so inclined to nab a selfie with the happy couple, you're more than welcome to! (We may even have a special Snapchat geofilter for our special day!) Tag anything you post with #FinallyForbes and #HappilyForbeseverAfter

Question

Will I have to wear a mask?

Answer

Because everyone's comfort level when it comes to large groups is different, if you would feel more comfortable wearing a mask, you are welcome to wear a mask. Otherwise, masks are not required.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a limited open bar. After a certain number of drinks per person, you can buy more drinks if you want. East Forty, the brewery we'll be partying at, brews some of the best beers in Blue Springs (more like Brew Springs, am I right?) We'll have four beers and two cocktails on draft, plus local wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic options!

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

Dinner (Served buffet-style): Chicken or Brisket Tacos (with all the fixin's you might need for a taco on the side!) Mac and Cheese Nachos (tortilla chips with cheese) Rice On Tap: Jackson County Common - A malt-forward, but balanced lager. Perfect for those who don't want something too heavy. 5.1% ABV Big Head Red - Another easy to drink beer, this is a malty, sweet rye ale with floral and citrus notes. A good middle ground! 6% ABV Second Breakfast Porter - Chocolatey, caramelly, coffee-y. This oatmeal porter has it all, and it's perfect for those cold fall nights (or second breakfast!) 6.2% ABV East 40 Cherry Cider - A dry hard cider blended with Michigan cherries. 6.8% ABV Black Sheep - Lifted Spirits Bright Gin, lemon, blackberry-lavender syrup, and club soda. This is an easy one to sip! Blood Orange Margarita - Mean Mule Agave Spirit, organic agave syrup, fresh lime juice, blood orange liqueur. Even though it'll be 40 degrees outside, you'll feel like you're on a tropical vacation with this delicious drink! We will also have a selection of local wines and spirits, as well as non-alcoholic mixers and drinks including sodas (Coke products), iced tea, and lemonade!
