4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Dress comfortably for fall weather
You are encouraged to arrive between 3:00-7:00 pm on 10/18. Please check in to your accommodations Thursday night (10/17), or early Friday morning/afternoon (10/18). If you need transportation from the airport, please contact Aubrey. When you arrive, the bride and groom will be on their ceremonial hike. Make yourself at home, grab a bite to eat somewhere in the area, and relax on-site until the welcome party begins.
7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Dress casually, and for fall weather
The ceremony will be private as the couple wishes to hike up a mountain to say their vows. After the couple returns, a welcome party will be held from 7:30-9:30 pm. If weather allows, the party will be hosted in the garden. If the weather calls for rain, the party will be hosted inside of the Sanctuary's lower level. Dessert and drinks will be served. Please eat dinner on your own before the welcome party.
9:30 pm - 11:45 pm
Fall-weather clothes that you'd feel comfortable sitting by the fire in!
Join us for a fireside ceremony with family and friends. Bring your wedding speeches, poems, and tales! Instruments are welcome! The fire ceremony will be facilitated by Bree Hollis.
11:00 am - 5:45 pm
Wear hiking clothes and boots. Bring water, bug spray, and sunscreen. If you plan to walk around town, bring comfy shoes to walk in.
Feel free to use this time to hike a trail in the area, visit a museum, explore Asheville, or drive the Blue Ridge Parkway. There will be an artisans' market on the property, beneath the Pavilion, outside Treska's Cafe. Feel free to browse and relax as you'd like. If you don't want to leave the grounds, you're free to explore around the venue. A close friend will likely lead a group hike nearby, if you don't want to plan something yourself. Please bring enough water bottle and snacks if you plan a strenuous hike. Make sure that you practice safe hiking, and do not go alone if you're an inexperienced hiker. Be aware that dangerous animals such as bears and some species of venomous snakes are native to the area. Bears, snakes, and larger cats are known to frequent surrounding forests and natural attractions. Please hike in groups if you choose to hike! If you decide to go on a hike, let someone know where you're going and when you plan to be back.
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

If you have any other dietary restrictions, please contact Aubrey. If you'd like to share in bringing alcohol, please bring your favorite wine, beer, or liquor. Non-alcoholic mocktails will be served.
