Madison and Luke met in Madison’s hometown of Edgefield, South Carolina, during a season of rebuilding after Hurricane Helene. Luke was there helping restore power after the storm, and in the midst of all that uncertainty, something steady and unexpected began. From the very beginning, they instantly clicked. What started as a simple meeting quickly grew into something deeper, and even as miles later separated Texas and South Carolina, they remained as inseparable as long distance would allow. Through that season, their relationship was strengthened, rooted in faith, patience, and a shared sense of purpose. They soon discovered a mutual love for the Lord, cooking together, and traveling whenever possible. In true reflection of their adventurous hearts, their first real date was a spontaneous trip to Montana, a memory that set the tone for choosing each other boldly and without hesitation. What began during a time of restoration became the foundation of a love they now choose to step into fully.
