Friends and Family! The day has finally come! We've battled through a year of nonsense and have finally been given the green light to have our wedding! There are currently no restrictions for an outdoor gathering. Please check back frequently as we all know what a roller coaster of changes have happened repeatedly with new restrictions and resurgences regarding COVID-19. The story of Heidi and Grant is full of persistence, adventure, and most importantly, love. Grant came into Heidi’s life through her older brother, Ray. Grant and Ray quickly became friends during their time in college, and the more Grant started hanging around, the more he began to grow on Heidi. Ray however, was not completely thrilled with the idea of his buddy dating his little sister. That did not stop the two from beginning to fall for each other, and after much persistence and beer, Ray finally gave his blessing. six years of being together has been filled with many ups and downs, but throughout it all, they have chosen each other. The years have been filled with schooling, a few jobs, losing loved ones, making a few different places feel like home, and growing closer together each and every day. That led to the biggest day in their story, Christmas Day 2018. Grant knew that it was time to ask Heidi to stand by his side for the rest of their lives. Being that Heidi is a once in a lifetime kind of girl, her ring had to reflect her personality and be something truly unique. After many choices, he decided on a princess cut with diamond skulls. Anyone who knows Heidi and Grant, knows that their Pitbull, Lucy, has become a major part of their lives. Grant knew that incorporating Lucy was a must. . After much anticipation and patience, Christmas morning came. The night before, Grant had gotten a balloon and wrote “Will you be my forever mommy?” on one side. The plan was to attach the balloon to Lucy’s collar, to be the final gift of the night. Grant’s mom covered Heidi’s eyes while he led Lucy into the room, and he got down on one knee. Heidi, of course, gave an excited yes. Heidi and Grant can not wait to see all of their guests on their special day next August!
