We're Getting Married!

It all started with a match in December 2020 at Illinois State University, a time when meeting new people felt nearly impossible. Maggie was a freshman and had just joined her sorority, and Jared was a junior and pitcher on the baseball team. Thanks to Tinder, we matched, and after countless chats, we met in person. In January, with the temperature at -5 degrees, the original plan for ice cream in Uptown Normal didn’t seem so appealing. Instead, we opted for the cozier (and warmer!) alternative of Insomnia Cookies. From then on, we were inseparable. Between then and now, our story has been filled with countless memories: late nights at Western Tap, bingeing trashy reality TV, cozy movie theater dates, cheering on Jared at many baseball games, and celebrating milestones like graduating from ISU. Every moment together has been an adventure, but one stood out above the rest. On May 14th, 2024, Jared proposed at a winery in St. Louis. It had been thunderstorming all day, but the skies cleared just long enough for him to get down on one knee. We celebrated with our closest friends and family that evening, then headed to Florida for a trip to kick off our next chapter together. From Tinder chats to wedding vows, we can't wait to see what comes next in our story!
