We met at Gordon College through some shared friends. We spent time studying in the library, cliff jumping into the ocean, and singing our hearts out at church. We grew to become very close friends who not only worked together, but laughed & cried together, lifted weights & wrote papers together, prayed & worshipped together, & truly pushed each other in our faith. After a couple years of building our friendship, we heard God’s still, quiet voice whisper to each of us on separate occasions. This is it. And for us, God has to confirm it, it can’t be merely led by our flesh or earthly desires. And He did again and again. This foundation of friendship and genuine love for Christ has led us to love and choose each other. To choose a lifetime of loving, serving, making a family who glorifies God with all their heart and soul. In this season we are learning to rejoice in trials, forgive when it's difficult, and serve humbly. We are experiencing a lot of growth! Most of all, choosing to put God first in friendship, in dating and for our future marriage has been the best decision.. for He truly is faithful!
"Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh". ~Genesis 2:24
