Estepona has a lovely old town decorated with flowers and wall murals, as well as a nice beachfront. Its a great place to be based near the wedding venue (20mins) and there is more to enjoy than in Sotogrande which is basically just a marina with no highstreet and limited options to explore on foot.
Harrys top recommendation: Big rock, impressive cave, mildly intimidating monkeys, military history, what is not to like. Allow at least 2-3 hours to make the most of it, cable car available if you didn't pack comfy walking shoes. Tickets are £30 whether you walk or ride, need your passport to cross over from Spain.
The internet says: World-class courses with stunning sea views — great for a casual round or pre-wedding swing. Harry's honest take: Ditch your partners and enjoy 4 hours of peace on some of Europe's premier courses.
Slightly out the way, but 1.5 hr drive inland from the Finca. Plan a trip to the historic Andalusian town of Ronda, famed for its dramatic gorge, Puente Nuevo bridge, wine making, bullfighting heritage and breathtaking views.
Sandwiched between the bigger towns of Estepona and Sotogrande, Manilva offers a bit of both vibes but a bit smaller. Renowned for some good wine tasting experiences. Not somewhere we checked out but pics look nice.
The internet says: Beautiful, peaceful trails just outside Estepona with panoramic views over the coast — ideal for a morning stretch.
The internet says: A picture-perfect hilltop town just 25 minutes away — great for photos and a traditional Andalusian feel. Harry's honest take: don't bother unless your looking to break up a car journey.
